Funding options

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

Little Llamas Speech Pathology provides therapy support to self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. Our fees are aligned with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits for allied health services.

Please note: Little Llama’s Speech Pathology is not an NDIS registered provider which means I am unable to support Agency managed NDIS participants.

Medicare rebates

GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (GP CCMP) is a GP-initiated referral which clients may be eligible for. This allows for a rebate on the private fee for up to 5 sessions with allied health services as stipulated by your GP.

There are different Management Plan options if you are:

  • Seeking assessment and/or treatment of a neurodevelopmental condition

  • Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent

Please discuss these options with your GP who will confirm eligibility.

From 1st March 2026 individuals may access up to 8 assessment sessions and 20 treatment sessions with health professionals, including speech pathologists, through a referral from a medical practitioner. The eligible disabilities has now been broadened to include stuttering, speech sound disorders and cleft conditions.

Private Health Insurance

Many Private Health Insurers include rebates on allied health services which may include Speech Therapy. Each health fund differs so please consult your Insurer to enquire about the rebate you may be able to access for therapy services before your appointment. I can then arrange to set myself up as a Provider in their system for you to be able to lodge an insurance claim for the service.

Cancellation Policy

I understand that life can get busy, and I’ll always do my best to reschedule appointments with as much notice as possible. I also recognize the challenges families face in accessing services for their child. To ensure fairness for all families waiting for a service, I kindly ask that you provide a minimum of 2 business days’ notice if you’re unable to attend a scheduled session.

PS: I’ll always be flexible and can offer to repurpose your session as a Telehealth appointment or provide non-face-to-face support (report/letter, phone call, resource development).

🔔 What counts as a short-notice cancellation?

Any cancellation made less than 2 clear business days before your appointment is considered short notice. If I have been unable to fill this time with other billed work then unfortunately, the 100% cancellation fee will apply, in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits.

🚫 No-shows

If you miss an appointment without notifying your therapist in advance—either by phone or email—a 100% cancellation fee will apply.

🤒 Illness or unexpected emergencies

If your cancellation is due to illness or an unforeseen circumstance, please reach out to your therapist as soon as you can to discuss your situation.
